We offer convenient on-site pharmacies

Our main clinics offer onsite pharmacies to provide you the prescriptions you need as quickly and conveniently as possible.

Our pharmacies are licensed by the State of Washington and staffed by licensed pharmacists. We stock the medications most commonly needed by our patients, and we make every effort to make medications accessible and affordable.

In order to maintain pharmacy services, we ask that you pay for your medications at the time you pick them up. If you can’t afford your medications, there may be a pharmacy assistance program to help you.

PLEASE NOTE: We now bill most insurances, including Washington Medicaid, Medicare Part D and private commercial plans.  Please contact the pharmacy if you would like to check on a specific insurance plan.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get my prescription refilled?

Please call your outside pharmacy to request refill(s) for all prescriptions filled outside of CDCHC. If the prescription is from our in-house pharmacy, please call one of our pharmacy lines to request your refill. For Country Doctor Community Clinic pharmacy, call (206) 299-1618. For Carolyn Downs Family Medical Center pharmacy, call (206) 299-1935. Please allow 48-72 hours to refill your medication. You may need to make an appointment or obtain lab work for your refill(s).

It is important that you do not run out of medication. To prevent
this, please plan ahead. When it is necessary to prescribe medication that we do not carry, you will need to use an outside pharmacy.

What if I have a question or a bad reaction to a medication?

If you are having a reaction to your medication (or other problems), call your clinic during operating hours or the after-hours consulting nurse.
